2019 Jeep Renegade is slightly changed popular model made in a factory that is planning to make significant changes in their vehicles in years to come. First on their list is Cherokee, so Renegade still did not saw many changes this time, but as we saw in spy photos, there are few things to talk about.
Exterior
As we could see in spy photos, 2019 Jeep Renegade undergoes few important changes but keeping the same basic shape and design. We were able to see under the protection that it will have the same rounded lights and perhaps wider gridded recognizable grille, with thin fog lights in shape of the line below them, placed in opposite directions. However, the rear end had thick protection, which did not allow any peeking, but we suppose that it will have redesigned rear lights and slightly revised bumper. As we concerned, the manufacturer actually did not change design of Renegade a lot, since the last model was redesigned and has great and attractive features.
Interior
There are high chances that the manufacturer will significantly change the cabin of 2019 Jeep Renegade, according to rumors. We have reasons to believe in that since new Cherokee has undergone changes in that field, too. However, it is expected that new Renegade will get redesigned center cluster, changed and updated infotainment system and maybe one of those mobile-car connections like every proper car has – Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Together with that comes redesigned dashboard, which should be bigger now and maybe improved climate control or navigation system. Leather upholstery should remain in this model, as on Cherokee, too.
Engine
It is not for sure which engine will be found in 2019 Jeep Renegade yet, but there is possibility that the manufacturer has learned the lesson from the current version and noisy and too strong 2.4-liter petrol engine. In that case, they could decide to change it and maybe put 2.0-liter engine which already got Cherokee and Wrangler in their version. The model that is placed in Cherokee, for example, has the strength of 217 horsepower, so we expect that Renegade could have the same under the hood.
2019 Jeep Renegade Release Date and Price
It is not for sure when 2019 Jeep Renegade will be on the market, but let say that we will not wait long for it. Renegade is always on the second place of selling, behind Patriot in Australia but also behind Grand Cherokee from the same manufacturer. We expect the same position and interest for this model, too.
