Since the last Geneva Motor Show has brought us the concept of the upcoming 2019 McLaren 650, the fans of such supercars and speed enthusiasts have been waiting for this iconic model to hit the roads. The new 650 supercar should make its appearance as a 2019 model and it should show some serious improvements in terms of design and performance.

Exterior

When it comes to exterior of the 2019 McLaren 650, this powerful supercar is going to hit the tracks as a sporty and dynamic two-door topless coupe that will be much more aggressive and dynamic than its predecessor. Namely, the new 650 will show some more masculine styling on its curvy body. This prestigious carmaker will use some lightweight materials such as aluminum and carbon fiber for its chassis. With this weight reduction, the new McLaren 650 will only boost its already powerful performance. Also, it will improve aerodynamics thanks to its long P1-inspired nose. The front part of the car will look menacing with its powerful bumper made of carbon fiber and a massive splitter. You will also notice its distinctive headlights and air intakes. According to our sources, the profile of the new 650 has been largely compared to the Audi A8. The car should stand on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. In its raised rear end, the fans will find small spoiler made of carbon fiber, horizontal taillights and two exhaust pipes.

Interior

Inside the 2019 McLaren 650, you can expect some upgraded cabin with two seats covered in premium leather. The carmaker will also use some other high-quality and lightweight materials for other parts of the cabin, such as aluminum and carbon fiber. However, the bucket seats might be a bit hard and stiff and not so comfortable. Besides that, the new McLaren 650 should upgrade its features significantly, including technology and safety. The driver will get a three-spoke race-inspired steering wheel and a multimedia touch-screen. We are waiting for more information at the moment.

Engine

According to the information our team has got, the 2019 McLaren 650 will offer a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 under its hood. Such an engine is expected to deliver the output of 641 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. It will be paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It has also been said that the new McLaren 650 will take about 3 seconds to hit 60 mph.
