US market has always large trucks and pick-ups on high demands, so 2020 Toyota Tundra Baja comes as logical and expected improvements of highly demanded and sold truck from the last year. Since every manufacturer always improves their models, it is expected that the famous factory as Toyota will do the same. This time they slightly improved the appearance and design of the car, and we expect that they will offer another engine together with current ones.
There are no expected large changes in the design of 2020 Toyota Tundra Baja since the last model. It has a recognizable look and design which manufacturer obviously does not want to change. However, there is an impressive massive front end with extremely wide mesh bumper, separated on two with the wide metallic line. There is also massive metallic protection on the bottom of the bumper and wide LED front lights. The rear end has flat trunk door, with soft edges and lines, and chromatic hands and decoration. The rear lights are simple, squared and large, visible from the other cars behind.
Not only that the inside of 2020 Toyota Tundra Baja is wide and spacious, but it is also very comfortable and even elegant in some parts. The cabin is wrapped in brown thick leather that provides soft and comfortable seats. The wide dashboard is decorated with details and pieces in chrome, and few details in wood. In terms of technology, there are things like Bluetooth connection, USB ports, climate control and Android Auto or Apple Car Play.
There are two engines optional in 2020 Toyota Tundra Baja and those were available in the last model, too. First one is 4.0-liter V6 that could be found in Ford Ranger and Ford Explorer. This engine has not been confirmed yet, and knowing its falls and weaknesses it could be even replaced with a stronger option. Another version that comes in mind is GM’s 5.7-liter V8 petrol unit, obviously presented in Chevrolet Silverado and Ram 1500 as optional, which is much more impressive and reliable. Its strength is 383 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. Both should be matched with the six-speed automatic transmission.
2020 Toyota Tundra Baja Release Date and Price
Since the current model is still available, it is not clearly known the date when 2020 Toyota Tundra Baja will hit the market. However, it could be at fall, when Auto Shows started. The base price of the model is around $24,000, but it could go even much higher than this price, up to $45,000 when all equipment and additions are used.
