2019 Chevrolet Impala is a true symbol of luxury and US tradition, which every American buyer love to have and drive. Being on the market for the very long time it expects change, but the manufacturer has not precised how is that change planned to be.
Exterior
2019 Chevrolet Impala comes almost unchanged from the last model, confirming our expectations that the manufacturer will change something in the next two years. It is again full-size four-door sedan, made on a long wheelbase that is also used on Buick LaCrosse and Cadillac XTS as GM Epsilon II. However, Impala again gets adjusted version called Super Epsilon variant. The short version of this wheelbase got Chevrolet Malibu and Buick Regal, so few details are similar to them, too. However, there are minor changes on the chassis from the last model, so except Graphite Metallic color and new wheel locks, there are no significant changes to be mentioned. The car is large, long and very elegant, with the long rounded front end and wide grille separated on parts with horizontal metallic lines. The rear end is shorter, so the trunk door is almost invisible, decorated with impressive rear lights.
Interior
There are no many surprises inside of the 2019 Chevrolet Impala since before. The interior gets Jet Black Premium Cloth leathered upholstery along with the current ones. In term of technology, there are the same things as before, including a navigation system, cruise control, and audio and sound system. The car has a quality safety system, including airbags and driving assistant.
Engine
There are two engine options in 2019 Chevrolet Impala. The first one is the 2.5-liter petrol unit that produces 197 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque, already seen on Mazda 3. The second option is stronger 3.6-liter V6 petrol unit with 305 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque, shared with the Cadillac CTS, to whom it actually reminds the most. Both engines are driven on front wheels (with no clues if that could be changed on demand) and come with a six-speed automatic transmission.

2019 Chevrolet Impala is a great and highly luxury sedan. However, do not stick to it too much since the next two year will be the last ones in its history. The reason is the length of its existence since Impala lives its tenth generation on the market and surely has not any new buyers to attract. According to informed fans, it will or be removed from the market or replaced with new Impala which will be made on GM E2 platform that is already used on the third generation of Buick LaCrosse. It will be made in two factories, in Ontario, Canada, and Detroit, Michigan, as before.
