2019 Dodge Charger comes as less known and not that popular older brother of Dodge Challenger, as a logical continuation of the large sedan with the sporty and strong engine. Looking from the outside, it has everything that Challenger has, except the large trunk and long base, and some level of elegance and seriousness. As some fans described it, it is a large sedan for senior citizens, but let us say seniors loved in fast driving and attractive design.

Exterior

The manufacturer has not changed the wheelbase and platform where 2019 Dodge Charger has been made years before, so the design and size of the car are the same as before. The front end follows the design of all Dodges we know for, so there is recognizable thin mesh air intake in combination with rounded double lights. The rear end is longer and cubic, with three recognizable lines across the trunk door and simple and flat trunk door.

Interior

The manufacturer has not precisely explained what should be changed inside of 2019 Dodge Charger or if anything will be changed at all. However, the design of the cabin follows sporty design and appearance of the car in combination with the elegance of this model.

Engine

There are four optional engines under the hood of 2019 Dodge Charger. The base model of this car, called Charger SXT gets a 3.6-liter V6 engine that will be able to choose as rear and all-wheel driving model. The rear wheel driving model produces 292 horsepower of strength and 260 pound-feet of torque. There is a stronger version with 6.4-liter naturally aspirated petrol V8 engine that produces amazing 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. There is also a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 petrol engine with 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the strongest and most attractive version is Dodge’s famous 6.2-liter Hemi V8 petrol engine with amazingly 717 horsepower of strength, shared with Hellcat.

2019 Dodge Charger Release Date and Price

It is for sure that 2019 Dodge Charger will hit the market in the fourth quarter of the year, when Challenger STR Hellcat goes out, too. The price is not known yet, but expect a number closer to the $30,000, since that was the last year model price. Except for those small changes in engine and design it is not known what the manufacturer actually planned with this car for the future and if it will be on the market under this name and design or not. We should get to know that soon. By then, enjoy this great old-fashioned sedan and fast and amazing driving.
