2019 Hummer H1 will be offered for the Chinese market only under the different name, Humvee C-series, as the manufacturer had to make its own version of the popular robust machine. It will make some troubles to faithful buyers due to changed name and market where it will be sold, but after we saw photos and reviews, we are sure that you will recognize the old great truck.
The thing is that brand Hummer is still owned by GM, meaning that they can be the only ones who can redesign and sell this truck. On the other hands, they killed this brand in 2010, stopping with making new versions, so old buyers simply have no vehicles to buy. But, do not worry, another factory, called VLF Automotive and in cooperation with Humvee Export, owned by Bob Lutz, Gilbert Villarreal, and Henrik Fisker and positioned in Michigan has taken the design of this amazing truck and offered it to buyers. The only problem was legal right that GM has, so they can sell it only outside of US. That is not such big problem, knowing how rapidly Chinese economy grows and how easy is selling the strong and massive truck on that market.
Exterior
As the opposite of the changed name, 2019 Hummer H1 actually remained the same design and look at the old models. This is largely muscular and almost army truck, with recognizable gridded grille and largely rounded fog lights on the front. There will be three trim versions offered – Bravo, Charlie, and Delta.
Interior
Engine
The engine in this amazing vehicle we called 2019 Hummer H1 will be 6.5-liter V8 diesel unit with even 430 horsepower and 424 pound-feet of torque, which is above the average models in class. Expected speed and increasing time are not known yet, but we expect average numbers in this class. However, this is only a first engine option among four more that manufacturer offers.
2019 Hummer H1 Release Date and Price
Because of problems with naming and branding of this popular truck, 2019 Hummer H1 can never be sold under that name. As GM has not finally stopped with producing with this car, new factories, like VLF and Humvee Export, must certify their model again. That is not an easy job at all, but luckily, they have found a resolution in making a similar car with modernized details and offer it to the market outside of US. We expect the same price and conditions with the old model, together with design and engine strength.
