We were able to see new 2019 Land Rover Evoque on test driving in Nurburgring and we were thrilled with many improvements and changes that the manufacturer offered. It is obvious that the manufacturer was inspired with Velar, but many things on this vehicle are new and original. There is expected hybrid engine, maybe the best in class and perfect equipment in the cabin. The car is slightly redesigned to be more attractive and luxurious.
Exterior
Exterior look will be the most attractive to the new buyers in new 2019 Land Rover Evoque that is for sure. It has always been an example of modernly designed small SUV, but this time it has even more new and attractive details. With slightly sloped roof it looks more like a compact crossover than high-riding SUV, but that provides more attractive look. The front end is similar to other Land Rovers, with mesh wide grille and irregularly shaped front lights with LED line on the bottom. The rear end is slightly rounded and has modernized lights with a thin spoiler on the top of the rear window.
Interior
Interior of 2019 Land Rover Evoque is comfortable and roomy, with plenty of space in a rear row for three adult persons. There is also wide space for legs and design looks like in high luxury trucks. There are similarities with Velar, too. In terms of technology, there are modern and high-tech devices, depending on trim versions. Base model gets dual-screen console display; the higher trim will have climate control, a navigation system, and infotainment system while the highest trim has a high-tech model with many improvements.
Engine
2019 Land Rover Evoque should have the same engines as the current model, with possibly slight changes. That includes both petrol and diesel engine that were offered in last year model, with few improvements. We should be prepared for the hybrid model, made from 1.5-liter petrol engine and an electric motor, but other information and performances are not known for now. It is for sure that the manufacturer will not offer SVR fast version which we had with last year model.
2019 Land Rover Evoque Release Date and Price
2019 Land Rover Evoque should be shown on at the Paris Motor Show scheduled for October 2018 when starts the selling of the model. The price should be almost the same as for the current model, meaning $40,000 for the base model that could increase to more than $50,000.
