According to some recent official announcements, it seems that the Ford brand has been planning to discontinue some of its most popular models soon, including Fiesta and Taurus. On the other hand, the well-known Ford Taurus might hit the market as a 2024 Ford Taurus model before the company officially ends its production, at least the fans hope so.
Exterior
If the Taurus actually survives and appears as a 2024 Ford Taurus model, it will hit the market as a full-size four-door family sedan. It should also seem more attractive and modern than its predecessor, but some speculations say that it could get smaller dimensions. Namely, the car could come shorter and wider, which will improve its stability and handling, but it might affect the interior space. However, the sedan should improve its aerodynamics and therefore, its overall performance. When it comes to exterior design, the fans will probably notice some visual updates and changes in both front and rear fascia. For instance, the Taurus will get a redesigned mesh grille and LED lighting system. In the back part, you will find twin exhaust pipes and a small spoiler which will give this model a sportier look.
