2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is the expected version of the old popular model, slightly redesigned last year with massive changes for this year. During test period last year, we were able to see changes that manufacturer planned with this model, but its realistic look and design are in front of us as next year model. According to changes, it became a sporty car with many improvements, mostly in term of engine strength and speed.
Exterior
As the last model was not changed much, we expected much more changes in new 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350. It remained sports design and shape, with the sharp front end and wide air intake in the middle with thin LED front lights. Below them are two thin LED lines instead of daily lights and between them is a wide air intake, almost dropped to the bottom, protected with the thin metallic line. The rear end has modernly designed truck with a wide spoiler on it and three doubled vertical lines on the sides instead of classic rear lights. There are two carbon fiber air wings on the side of the rear bumper, an additional sign and two doubled exhausts on the sides of the bumper with metallic protection on the bottom. This race-designed car has few curved dents on the sides of the car.
Interior
Even though the manufacturer has not designed as modern and attractive cabin as on models in the class, it is highly functional and surely very well equipped. That includes 4.2-inch information system and 7-inch touchscreen in the middle of the center cluster with many buttons and commands below it. In terms of technology there are such things like Bluetooth connection, USB connectivity, upgraded cruise control and navigation system, but not higher than average in the class. The manufacturer also said that they wanted to save weight by removing all unneeded parts, but do not give up on this car too soon. It is perfectly elegantly designed for the average buyer, with leather on the seats filled with special material for comfort.
Engine
2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 will get strong 5.7-liter V8 with 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. This engine is capable of increasing the speed of 60 mph for 4.3-seconds. The transmission should be 10-speed automatic transmission, which is improved from the last model. However, that information is not confirmed.
2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Release Date and Price
The first showing of 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 should be on Detroit Auto Show and release in the middle of the year. Starting price should be around $56,000.
