We have waited for a while, but just at the end of 2017 journalists had an opportunity to drive 2019 Jeep Wrangler and see it uncovered for the first time. Even though there were expected news to be shared at the end of last year, thanks to the engine versions and some differences in releasing dates for different markets, we took this model as 2019 model. However, it could be found on salons with all additions and equipment at the start of the year. According to all we saw, it has undergone many changes and improvements.
Exterior
If we compare the shape and design of 2019 Jeep Wrangler with the last model, we could see many similarities, thus as the shape and design are almost the same. However, the new model has soft edges and much gentler ends and details. As the manufacturer said, the material used in making it is stronger but more elastic, so the car looks softener. The car has a soft top, as spy photos showed a few months ago. There is recognizable gridded grille with rounded front lights with metallic protections and special equipment below it. The rear end has a flat truck door and simple bumper below it, protected with spare tire, as always. It is still boxy shaped truck with no many details and decoration.
Interior
The interior of 2019 Jeep Wrangler is wide but simple, with no many things that are not important on off-roads. On the other hand, it has a functional and wide dashboard, with many useful buttons and a large touchscreen in the middle. The seats are covered with leather.
Engine
2019 Jeep Wrangler got two engines, but those are similar to engines that previous model had. The first option is 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol unit with 270 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. The second one is 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Other versions, even though mentioned by the manufacturer are still not available. One of them is turbo diesel engine that might be on the US market in 2019, while a hybrid engine is planned to be under the hood next year, too.
2019 Jeep Wrangler Release Date and Price
As the new model has been shown literally at the end of last year, we can say that it will be on the market as soon as possible. Starting price is around $31,000, and there will be offered four versions, Sporty, Sporty S, Sahara, and Rubicon.
