Perhaps some fans expected that 2019 Nissan Silvia S16 will follow the same design as models from this manufacturer before, but we must say that it will not be exactly the same as those models. Knowing that Nissan has made few new models in past years, it is not strange that they will change something with new Silvia S16. However, we are not sure how it could look like since the manufacturer has not said anything official yet, but we expect some similarities with Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ or even Scion FR-S.
Exterior
As we said, there is no clear information about the design of 2019 Nissan Silvia S16, so we predicted some things according to all we know by now. It has longer front end with thin LED lights and wide mesh grille between them. This sharp front end allows better aerodynamics of the car, but surely supports the look and shape of the sporty car as Silvia should be. The shorter rear end has rounded shape and truck door that is perfectly incorporated and small and modern rear lights. There is an interesting sloped roof made of glass, too.
Interior
Cars made in Nissan have always been known to comfort and elegance, so 2019 Nissan Silvia S16 will be like them. As we saw in previous models, there will be high luxury SAT/NAV infotainment system together with Bluetooth connection and high-quality sound and audio system. For those who are interested in luxury, there is leather on the seats and chromatic details on the wide and modern dashboard. The most interesting is curved steering wheel with platinum and chromatic details in combination with leather. The only possible problem could be the small size of the cabin, but the manufacturer compensates that with elegance and comfort.
Engine
The current model has a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine, so we expect that 2019 Nissan Silvia S16 will remain the same engine. However, there are rumors that the manufacturer considers about the new engine, 1.2-liter petrol one, which could be more interesting for the buyers. Both engines have the strength of around 200 horsepower, while other numbers, like fuel economy and acceleration time, are not known yet.
2019 Nissan Silvia S16 Release Date and Price
Even though we had many reasons to believe that 2019 Nissan Silvia S16 is possible, the manufacturer has not confirmed these changes yet. In case that it will be offered, that could happen during 2018 for the price of $24,000 for the base model. All other information will be known later.
