According to the information our team has got recently, one of the most popular hatchbacks, especially in the European market, the Toyota Yaris is coming back as a redesigned 2019 model, but as a four-door sedan. The new 2019 Toyota Yaris will be available in three trim levels and it will offer some minor refreshments and improvements.

Exterior

As we have already mentioned, the upcoming 2019 Toyota Yaris will be available as an attractive four-door sedan offered in three trim levels – L, LE and XLE. The styling of this popular model will seem pretty much the same, but the fans will definitely notice its redesigned front and rear fascia. In the front part, the new Yaris will get a honeycomb insert in its hexagonal grille with chrome edges. You will also notice its massive bumper with deeply inserted fog lights and larger air intakes in it. This sedan should stand on standard 16-inch aluminum wheels. On higher trim levels, you will also notice its heated mirrors. Speaking of higher trims, they will appear much sportier and aggressive. The new Yaris will also improve aerodynamics thanks to its sharper front end. In the back part of the vehicle, you will find its LED taillights and a rear spoiler. It has also been announced that the sedan will be available in seven new color choices.

Interior

The interior of the 2019 Toyota Yaris will also show some significant updates and it will seem better-equipped and modern. The carmaker will use some high-quality materials and improve the overall comfort, especially in its LE and XLE models. The driver will also get a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel. The new Yaris will provide a 7.0-inch infotainment touch-screen display with lots of standard and optional features such as navigation, satellite radio, a six-speaker audio system, CD player, MP3 player, USB ports and Bluetooth connectivity. When it comes to safety systems and driver assist features, Toyota will upgrade these as well. Some of them will include automatic emergency braking, six airbags, automatic high beams, forward collision warning and lane departure warning.

Engine

Under the hood of the 2019 Toyota Yaris, this model will offer a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Such an engine is expected to deliver the output of 106 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque. It will be paired to a standard six-speed manual transmission, but a six-speed automatic will be available as optional. It has also been estimated that the new Yaris will take less than nine seconds to hit 60 mph.
