The legendary Super Duty series has been around for full two decades and we have seen four generations so far. The current model is on the market since 2016. However, the company already works on a refresh, which will come next year. The testing model has been spotted and it seems clear that under a heavy camouflage is actually 2024 Ford F-350. Judging on the deep cover, we can presume that changes will be quite intense. Of course, most of them are about exterior design, though few tweaks to the cabin seem possible as well. Finally, a new gasoline engine should come as well.

Pros

  • Light body, great efficiency
  • Mighty diesel engine
  • Upscale, car-like cabin
  • Lots of equipment in higher trims
  • Great towing and payload ratings

Cons

  • Price jumps very fast
  • Rivals are coming completely redesigned

Exterior

As we already mentioned, the new 2024 Ford F-350 has been spied. The fourth generation of this Super Duty model is about to get a mid-cycle refresh and we are about to see several novelties. Of course, the exterior will suffer most, front end in particular. Count on a new front fascia. We should see a slight reshaping of the grille, which will also receive a new, bigger “Ford” badge. The rear end will probably get a mild treatment, with subtle changes in taillights area. Rest of the truck should keep the familiar shape. We also don’t expect bigger changes in mechanics, except the new engine. Just like the current model, it will come in three cab designs and with two bed sizes in the offer.

Interior

On the inside, the 2024 Ford F-350 probably won’t suffer much. We probably won’t see bigger modifications on the dashboard, which already looks quite good and upscale. Moreover, a complete cabin looks very attractive, considering that we are talking about heavy-duty trucks. Next year could eventually bring novelties in terms of color schemes and more standard equipment for each trim levels. Speaking of trim levels, a base organization will definitely remain the same, which would mean six models in the offer – XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited.

Engine

One of the biggest novelties for this update could come under the hood. According to some reports, Ford’s new gasoline engine will be ready for the next year. Instead of the current 6.2-liter V8, we will see a new 7.0-liter V8 engine, with much more power and torque, as well as with much better efficiency. Also, there is a chance to see a new 10-speed automatic transmission with it. On the other side, the famous 6.7-liter V8 turbodiesel will probably carry on without bigger changes. This one delivers around 450 horsepower and monstrous 930 lb-ft of torque, which are class-leading numbers.

2020 Ford F-350 Release Date and Price

Most likely, the 2024 Ford F-350 will hit the market in the third quarter of next year. Changes in price are not expected, so base models should go around $34,000.
