The popular luxury crossover has been redesigned recently. The new generation came with a lot of improvements and there is no doubt that the new model is better than ever.

Despite the fact that we can see a new styling, as well as a plethora of engines, the company plans to introduce a completely new version for the next year. According to the latest reports, a new coupe version will be ready to hit the market this year. Other than a new body, it will come with familiar design characteristics, including the same engine lineup.

Pros

  • Wide palette of powerful engines
  • Excellent handling
  • Hi-quality cabin
  • Comfortable cabin

Cons

  • Small cargo area

Exterior

As we already mentioned, the biggest novelty for the next year will be a new body style. While the base version is about to carry on in the same way, the new coupe model will come with a typical sloping roof layout, which is pretty popular these days.

Such layout will make this crossover look even sportier, which leads us to a conclusion that the new version may come with some exclusive hi-output powertrain options as well. On the other side, two models will be the same in terms of mechanics. The current generation has been presented recently and there is really no need for bigger modifications at the moment.

Interior

The interior design is another aspect of the crossover that will keep a familiar layout. Count on the same dashboard design and similar dimensions. Still, a new coupe version will bring some changes at the back. Typically for coupe layouts, this one will come with less headroom compared to the standard model.

The sloping roof will affect cargo capacity as well. All in all, count on a little bit less practicality, but the overall comfort should remain on the same, very high level. Also, we are pretty sure that the organization of equipment groups won’t be much different compared to the standard body style.

Engines

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne should continue with the same engines in the offer. Therefore, the base engine will be a familiar 3.0-liter V6, which is good for about 335 horsepower. The famous 2.9-liter V6 unit will be in the offer too, with a max output of 435 horsepower.

Of course, a 4.0-liter V8 will be in the offer as well. This one delivers around 550 horsepower. The new coupe version probably won’t be available with the base V6 engine, but definitely will with two familiar hybrid systems, with either 460 or 680 horsepower.

2020 Porsche Cayenne Release Date and Price

Considering the new body style, the 2024 Porsche Cayenne will probably come earlier than usual. The new coupe model will probably feature a higher price compared to standard body style, which will keep the same starting price of 65.700 dollars. Competition in the segment is tough. Some of the rivals are models like Maserati Levante, Tesla Model X, Range Rover Sport, Audi Q8 etc.
