2019 Toyota Camry comes as a continuation of the last year model that was fully redesigned. As the manufacturer noticed, Camry, a carryover model, has literally lost its position on the market so something must be done to avoid that. In order to change it, they made a new model for 2018 and this time they added few interesting things to follow market demands.

Exterior

As we said, 2019 Toyota Camry simply has not changed a lot due to full redesigning last year, but it has few details new in order to be distinguished from the last version. The first change is surely sloped and lowered roof, which makes a feeling of decreasing of the car size, but measures are actually the same as on the last model. There is the same front end and LED front lights and wide air intake on the bottom of the bumper. The rear end is short, with thin rear lights and spoiler on the truck door.

Interior

There are no many changes in the cabin of the 2019 Toyota Camry, but the changes that are made are not quite accepted. The reason is folded seats on the back, which manufacturer made to avoid small headspace due to sloped and lowered roof. That seat position is not comfortable and surely can distract from driving, but according to the manufacturer, it could be a good solution for taller drivers. In term of technology, there is the best equipment in the class, including a 7-inch touchscreen, keyless entry, and six-speaker audio system.

Engine

There should not be many changes in the engine that power 2019 Toyota Camry, at least not in the base model. When a standard version is about we expect the same 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol unit with 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. However, higher trim should get slightly stronger four-cylinder with 206 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. Finally, there is the highest trim and the most powerful engine, a 3.5-liter V6 with 301 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. All engines come paired with the eight-speed automatic transmission, which is another thing that has not been changed from the last year.

2019 Toyota Camry Release Date and Price

2019 Toyota Camry should be on the market at the end of the year, according to a typical schedule of the manufacturer’s new cars releasing. Base price should be as for the last year model and that is $25,000 while top price could be around $35,000. Among usual competitors are vehicles from the same class, like 2019 Ford Fusion, Chevrolet Malibu, 2019 Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata, and Nissan Altima.
