Exterior

When it comes to exterior of the 2019 Toyota Fortuner, this mid-size crossover SUV should keep the same dimensions as its predecessor and keep most of those standard features we have already seen. All in all, the Fortuner will appear more aggressive and get sharper lines, especially in the front fascia. You will notice its wider two-slat grille and its narrowed and more angular LED headlights and fog lights. In the back part of the vehicle, you will find its distinctive spoiler. The new Fortuner should stand on base 17-inch alloy wheels.

The 2019 Toyota Fortuner will provide some rather spacious cabin that offers three rows of seats for its seven passengers. The interior will be quite refreshed and it will undergo some serious changes and improvements. The carmaker will combine some gray and beige design on its comfortable seats. In higher trim levels, the seats will be heated and power-adjustable, but also covered in leather. The driver will get a multi-function steering wheel and a 7.0-inch touch screen display with the infotainment and multimedia system and features such as satellite navigation, audio system and Bluetooth. When it comes to safety, this crossover will include systems such as hill-start assist, traction control, a rearview camera and rear parking sensors.

Engine

There will definitely be more than one option offered under the hood of the 2019 Toyota Fortuner. It hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but one of them could be a 2.5-liter four-cylinder diesel. Other version includes a 2.8-liter inline-four with 177 horsepower and there have been some speculations about a 4.0-liter V6.
