The iconic sports car will probably feature no bigger changes for the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro model. The current sixth generation of this legendary pony car has been around since 2015. The 2019-year model is coming with a variety of changes, so it is hard to expect anything more important only a year later. Still, some reports suggest one completely new trim, which will finally make large V8 engine available in most basic models. Other than that, the 2024 Camaro will continue in a familiar way.

Exterior

When it comes to base design characteristics, there is no place for bigger changes on the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro. The famous model will continue with familiar characteristics, offering two body styles – coupe and convertible. The recent update has brought few interesting novelties. First of all, there are novelties on both ends of the car, like the tweaked grille, lighting groups, bumpers etc. Also, the company introduced few new colors, as well as a new 18-inch wheels design. Considering all these changes, it seems that 2024 Chevrolet Camaro probably won’t have anything new to offer, except new exterior colors, maybe.

Interior

On the inside, the recent update has brought some novelties too. There is a new infotainment system, as probably the biggest novelty. Also, there is a new ambient lighting, as well as forward collision warning, which is a standard feature now. Other than that, the interior design seems pretty familiar. It comes with not so spectacular materials quality and very limited space on rear seats. Cargo space is very modest as well, so would rather recommend Dodge Challenger or even Ford Mustang if you look for something that is also practical for an everyday drive. The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro will probably bring one completely new trim level. It will be a low-grade trim, probably with quite basic list of standard features, but with a large V8 under the hood on the other side. An affordable V8 definitely sounds amazing, though we can’t say anything more specific at the moment.

Engines

Expect a variety of engines under the hood of this muscle car. Base models will continue with an efficient 2.0-liter inline-four unit, which has a max output around 275 hp. Next in the line is a familiar 3.6-liter V6, which in this case delivers around 335 horsepower and 285 pound-feet of torque. The famous SS trim enters the doors of V8 world. This model feature a 6.2-liter engine with a max output of 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque. Finally, there is a ZL1 version, which features the same engine but tuned up to 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. The possible low-grade V8 will, on the others side, probably feature something smaller, with a max output between 350 and 400 horsepower.

2020 Chevrolet Camaro Release Date and Price

Expect to see 2024 Chevrolet Camaro in the usual time, somewhere late in the next year. Base models should go around $26,000.
