2019 Honda Accord is a continuation of the famous car completely redesigned last year. That is the reason why this version is not much changed as we did not expect many differences from last year. However, there are few changes worth of mentioning mostly in terms of engine type and strength, while the model has a new hybrid engine. All engines got a new transmission and slightly improved safety features.
Exterior
As the last model is changed and fully redesigned, the manufacturer has not changed a lot 2019 Honda Accord. There are only a few details to distinguish this model from the last series. The wide front end has a recognizable gridded grille with a wide chromatic line with manufacturer’s logo across it and thin LED front lights on the sides of the bumper. The rear end is classical for sedans, with few curved lines on the truck door and slightly redesigned rear lights.
Interior
We already said that the cabin in 2019 Honda Accord was enlarged for the previous version, so there are no changes in that part. It has 40.4 inches leg room and 16.7 cubes in the truck. However, do not expect much larger truck this time when the hybrid engine is there, but it is still among the widest cars on the market. In terms of technology there are no such changes, so there are the same equipment and few improved features. The cabin is designed to be comfortable and enjoyable for travelers with many adjusting functions on the seats and dashboard.
Engine
According to the manufacturer, they dropped the old V6 engine and new 2019 Honda Accord got four-cylinder options this time. There will be two optional petrol engines. First is 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol one with 195 horsepower, while the stronger is 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol unit with 250 horsepower of strength. The most interesting in this model, however, is a new hybrid engine, composed of 2.0-liter petrol unit and an electric engine. Both send the strength of 212 horsepower and it is the only version that gets CVT automatic transmission. Other two petrol units have six-speed automatic transmission and optional 10-speed automatic transmission.
2019 Honda Accord Release Date and Price
2019 Honda Accord should be on the market at fall 2018. The price should be the same as on the current model, so expect something around $25,000 for the base model and the highest price of $36,000 for a model with all equipment. When it comes to competition, it is usual models, like 2018 Toyota Camry, Hyundai Sonata, and Nissan Altima.
